From One Layperson To Another

Jesus has a challenge for YOU, it’s quite simple.  Get out there and spread The Gospel.  Tell everyone YOU encounter, about God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  Make it a point, to ask, at least one person, each day, if they have accepted God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  If they say, yes, then say something like, that’s great, that’s what I love to hear. 

However, if they say, no, ask them why not?  After their response, share with them about what accepting God’s Free Gift of Salvation, truly means.  The end result, is the assurance, the guarantee, to be in God’s Immediate Presence one day.  How can they have that assurance that guarantee?  Well, they must acknowledge that God Almighty, sent His Son, Jesus, The Christ, The Word, who took human form, to live on this Earth.  Jesus emptied Himself of Godly Powers.  That Jesus Christ, was tempted by sin, in All ways humanly possible, yet He never committed a sin.  Then Jesus Christ was Crucified, upon The Cross, for the sins of All Mankind, a blood sacrifice, for the remission or cleansing of sin, once for All.  On the third day, God Almighty raised Jesus, from the grave, Alive, that’s right, I said Alive.  They must admit that they are a sinner, and they don’t deserve God’s forgiveness.  There is nothing they can do, no amount of good deeds, they can perform, to earn His Forgiveness.  They ask God Almighty, for forgiveness, for the sin they commit.  They must repent or turn away from sin, and back towards God Almighty.  They ask that Jesus Christ, through The Holy Spirit, come to live within them, and they willingly give Him, control over their lives.  They now live for Jesus Christ, and The Lord God Almighty, and seek to do Their bidding, every day.  Once they say a prayer to God Almighty, admitting and asking these things, it will be given to them.  Immediately, God Almighty, through His Son, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit, will start changing them, from the inside out, to be more like Him, and less like the rest of Us.

Now, if they did say, yes, to your question, meaning they have accepted God’s Free Gift of Salvation, what next?  Well, tell them, God gives YOU tasks, Good Works to perform, and if YOU don’t perform them, no one will.  What if each person YOU encounter, it’s your responsibility, to share God’s Free Gift of Salvation, with each of them, and perhaps if YOU won’t tell them, no one will.  Have YOU thought about that?  That’s your Cross to bear, sounds like a huge responsibility doesn’t it?  Well, it is, so please don’t take it lightly or brush it off.  Explain to them, they are not to be pew warmers, meaning simply, go to Church, sit and listen to the message, then go home and do nothing more.  Each one of Us, Laypersons, Believers, have the equal responsibility of sharing about God’s Amazing Saving Grace, God’s Free Gift of Salvation, with everyone We meet!

So, do YOU remember the challenge, Jesus asks of YOU?  Get out there and spread The Gospel.  Tell everyone YOU encounter, about God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  Make it a point, to ask, at least one person, each day, if they have accepted God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  The more YOU do this, the easier it will be.  Remember, Jesus Christ is right there, to give YOU the words to say.  Sometimes YOU may just plant The Seed, making them think about it.  While someone else, may reap The Harvest, witnessing that person accept Jesus Christ, as their personal Lord and Savior, accepting His Free Gift of Salvation.  Now YOU know Jesus’ Challenge, the rest is up to YOU!  May Our God Bless YOU, in His Mighty Way, today, and every day.  Amen.

Something To Think About

If God Almighty saw, what YOU were doing, right now, would He be proud or disappointed.  If Jesus Christ saw, what YOU were doing, right now, would He, be proud or disappointed.  Well, I have got good or bad news for YOU, both of Them, are always watching YOU.  Have YOU ever thought about this?  Are YOU thinking about it, right now?  Well, YOU should, because like it or not, believe it or not, They are always watching YOU.  That’s right, as YOU sit here reading these very words, They are both watching YOU, intensively.  If YOU are a Believer, in God Almighty and The Lord Jesus Christ, They are both watching YOU.  If YOU are a Yet-To-Be-Believer or a nonbeliever, in God’s Free Gift of Salvation, They are both watching YOU, obviously, for different reasons.  As a Believer, YOU have accepted God’s Free Gift of Salvation, and YOU have that assurance, that guarantee, to know YOU will be, in God’s Immediate Presence, one day.  As a Yet-To-Be-Believer, one day, YOU will accept God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  As a nonbeliever, unfortunately, this means, YOU will not accept God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  As a nonbeliever, does this mean, God Almighty and The Lord Jesus Christ, are not watching YOU?  No, God Almighty and The Lord Jesus Christ, are always watching YOU, to see how YOU affect the lives of others.  As a Yet-To-Be-Believer, does this mean, God Almighty and The Lord Jesus Christ, are not watching YOU?  No, God Almighty and The Lord Jesus Christ, are always watching YOU, to see how YOU affect others, but also to see what it will take, what kind of “wake up call”, it will take, for YOU, to finally accept God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  As a Believer, The Living Light of Jesus Christ, God Almighty and The Lord Jesus Christ, especially, are watching YOU, to see if YOU truly shine Jesus’ Light upon the World.  Do YOU Love one another, do YOU Love the strangers YOU encounter?  Do YOU Love your enemies, which seek to harm and despise YOU?  Do YOU feed His Lambs, tend His Sheep, and feed His Sheep?  Do YOU share His Free Gift of Salvation, with family, friends, neighbors, strangers, and yes, your enemies, too?  Now, knowing this, that God Almighty and The Lord Jesus Christ, are watching YOU, right now, would They be proud of YOU, and what you’re doing, or would They be disappointed, at what you’re doing?  Something to think about.

God, The Father, Appoints Jesus, The Son, Our High Priest

Jesus Christ spoke to His Disciples, to make some things clear

Do not be called Rabbi, for One, The Christ, is Your Teacher

He also said, don’t call anyone on Earth, Your Father

For One, God Almighty, who is in Heaven, is Your Father

Do not be called Teacher, for One, The Christ, is Your Teacher

YOU are All Brethren, His Disciples, We now say, Brother

Jesus defined, who is Our Father, Teacher, and Brother

If there was any doubt, now YOU have heard, Jesus’ Answer

We have a Great High Priest, who has passed through into Heaven

Jesus Christ, The Son of God, has passed through into Heaven

We have a High Priest, who can empathize, with Our weakness

He was tempted by sin, yet didn’t give in, unlike Us

We come boldly, to The Throne of Grace, to obtain Mercy

To find Grace, to help Us, in times of need, confidently

High Priest, according to The Order of Melchizedek

For Jesus Christ, is Our High Priest, namely Melchizedek

God said, YOU are My Son, Today I have begotten YOU

God knew, Jesus was Melchizedek, now YOU know it too

Christ, Our Anchor of The Soul, The Presence behind The Veil

The Forerunner has entered for Us, We know Christ won’t fail

He sits at The Right Hand of The Throne of The Majesty

In Heaven, He’s The Minister of The Sanctuary

The True Tabernacle, which The Lord Erected, not Man

He has obtained, a More Excellent Ministry, by Plan

He is The Mediator of a Better Covenant

Established on better Promises, A New Covenant

For Christ came as Our High Priest, of The Good Things to follow

The Greater, More Perfect Tabernacle, of tomorrow

By His Blood, He entered The Most Holy Place, Once for All

Jesus Christ obtained Eternal Redemption, for Us All

We receive The Promise of The Eternal Inheritance

By Christ’s Blood, We obtain Eternal Life, with confidence

Christ was Offered Once, to Bear the sins of each Believer

Through Our Faith, in Him, He protects Us, from the deceiver

Jesus is Our Mediator, He has The Father’s Ear

We boldly Preach, The Gospel of Jesus Christ, with No Fear

Jesus Lives Forever, with an Unchangeable Priesthood

He is Our One and Only Priest, completely understood

Jesus Christ, The Son of God, God Almighty, Our Father

The Holy Bible makes this clear, which gives Us, God’s Answer

He is Our High Priest, Mediator, Counselor, Dear Friend

Everything in Life, Today, and beyond, Our Earthly End

We pray to The Lord, Our Father God, through Jesus, His Son

We, Children of God, Brothers and Sisters, in Christ, God’s Son

The Most Important Message

The Free Gift of Salvation, is The Most Important Message, that any of Us, can share with another person.  If YOU made a list of your family, and placed a checkmark next to those, who admitted that they have accepted God’s Free Gift of Salvation, would YOU be able to check off, All of them?  Or would YOU have to place an X next to the names, which YOU were uncertain about or that admitted they have chosen not to accept it?  Now, if YOU made a list of your friends, how many of them, would YOU be able to put a checkmark, by their names?  How about your Church Family, if YOU made a list of them, how many of them, would YOU put a checkmark, by their names?  Yes, I know, We cannot be certain, that each of them, has truly accepted God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  That is between them and God Almighty, only He truly knows their hearts, so We have to accept them, by their word.  Think about those whose names YOU could not place a checkmark by, does it trouble your heart, trouble your Spirit/Soul, to know, they have not accepted God’s Free Gift of Salvation?  That if something should happen to them, today, they would not be in God’s Immediate Presence, for Eternity?  Should The Lord Jesus Christ Return, today, their option of making this decision, would be gone, Forever!  Does this trouble your heart, your Spirit/Soul, down to its’ very core?  Well, it should, because it’s up to each of Us, to share about God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  Beginning with Our families, then with Our friends, and with Our Church family.  But this is still not good enough, We must share it with Our neighbors, too.  Now, that We have a foundation, We remind each of them, this is their task, as well.  Finally, We can talk to strangers, share with them about God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  Tell them, how having God in your lives, has changed YOU, from the inside out.  That God molds and changes YOU each day, to be more like Him, and less like the rest of Us.  He loves each of them so much, He wants them to be able to return to Him, to be in His Immediate Presence, for Eternity.  Once We accept His Free Gift, His Son, Jesus Christ, comes to live within Us, through The Holy Spirit.  There is no other feeling, on Earth, like having The Lord Jesus Christ, within YOU.  YOU yearn to serve God First, to put others first, to shine Jesus Christ’s Light, upon the World.  YOU want to shout, from the rooftops, that Jesus Christ Lives, and He wants each of them, to come to Him.  That accepting His Free Gift of Salvation, means admitting that they, like all of Us, are sinners, and they don’t deserve God’s Amazing Saving Grace.  That they know, Jesus Christ, does exist, He lived a sin free Life, and died upon The Cross, for All the sins of Mankind.  That God Almighty raised Him, from the grave, on the third day, and that after forty days, He ascended into Heaven, to sit at The Right Hand of God Almighty.  Finally, that Our High Priest, The Lord Jesus Christ, is Alive, today!  If they admit this, in their heart, and confess it, with their mouth, and sincerely Believe it, then they will be Saved!  They can have the guarantee, the confidence, to know, when they should die, or when Jesus Christ Returns, they will be, in God’s Immediate Presence, for Eternity!  Jesus Christ commanded that We, Love one another.  What better way to show this Love, than to share about God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  We Love Our families, We Love Our friends, We Love Our Church families, as well.  As commanded, We should also Love strangers, with just as much passion and compassion, perhaps, even more so.  The Free Gift of Salvation, is not something We can earn.  We cannot do enough good deeds, to earn this gift.  What is required to receive a gift?  To accept it, to take it, to tear it open, and see what’s inside!  A simple prayer, to God Almighty, sincerely spoken, and in less than one minute, less than sixty seconds, a person can go from, “I don’t know” to “I do know”!  What a wonderful God Almighty, We have.  God Loves Us so much, that He sent His Only Son, Jesus Christ, to die upon The Cross, to pay a debt, a blood sacrifice, for the remission or cleansing of sin, required by God Almighty.  Jesus Christ’s death, upon The Cross, died once, for the sins of All!  That means Our debt, Our death, has already been paid in full, by Jesus Christ.  Without Jesus Christ doing this, Our debt meant, Forever separation from God, meaning We could never be in God’s Immediate Presence, think about that.  Before We were ever born, Our debt, for Our sin, had already been, paid in full!  All We have to do, is to accept this gift, His Free Gift of Salvation, and We have the guarantee to be in God’s Immediate Presence, for Eternity.  If We turn down this gift, refuse it, turn away from it, then We acknowledge, that We will be, away from God’s Immediate Presence, for Eternity.  This IS The Most Important Message, God’s Free Gift of Salvation, that We can ever share, with anyone!  So, think about your family, your friends, your Church family, and all the strangers out there, do YOU want each of them to be in God’s Immediate Presence, one day?  Well then, get up, and get out there, and tell everyone YOU know and see, about God’s Free Gift of Salvation!

Putting together an Umbrella Ministry

You know, I have thought about writing a book, and filling it with my poems, mini-Sermons, Sermons, Bible Studies, etc., but each time, I think, how few people would be willing or take the opportunity, to read it.  I see how many, do create and have published, their material, and wonder, how many will actually take the opportunity to read what they publish.

Let's look at it this way, if we had 100 writers, publish one book, and 100 people take the opportunity to read them, that's 10,000 people, heard their message, a Blessing, but a simple drop in the ocean, compared to how many people there are in the World.

What if, instead, they joined together, to create their own Ministry, of Christian Poems, mini-Sermons, Sermons, Bible Studies, Short Stories, Novels, Children's Books, etc. Under one umbrella, they should be able to reach, so many more.

Physical Books, e-Books, Videos, online Ministry, to name a few, could be made, and put together, under one umbrella.

This is what I had in mind, when I created "Simply, Follow Me", almost 2 years ago. Finding like-minded Christians, who were willing to share their God-given Spiritual Gifts and talents, to spread The Gospel, God's Free Gift of Salvation, with the World. A World full of Believers, Yet-To-Be-Believers, and yes, unbelievers.

Is this simply a "pipe-dream" (if you know what I mean)?

God And Jesus Christ, Know And Believe In YOU

Even if YOU don’t know God Almighty, He knows YOU

Even if YOU don’t know Jesus Christ, He knows YOU

Even if YOU don’t Believe in God Almighty, He believes in YOU

Even if YOU don’t Believe in Jesus Christ, He believes in YOU

YOU don’t have to see God Almighty, to see His Hand at work

YOU don’t have to see Jesus Christ, to see His Hand at work

Look around, every single thing YOU see, is God’s Handiwork

Did YOU think, it’s all man-made, God rest’s Forever, from His Work

God set in motion, the things that were, things that are, and things that shall be

Man cannot even create a single blade of grass, from nothing, do YOU agree

Miracles still happen today, but does someone give God The Glory

Angels show up, in times of need, but does someone give God The Glory

God sets every man and woman, on a path of His Creation

He asks that we commune with Him, so He can give us direction

When we step away, from His Path, we experience a Life malfunction

When we return to His Path, and ask, Jesus Christ will show us how it’s done

We are to have God Almighty, as our true first priority

To put Him first, in our thoughts and actions, continuously

Seek His Guidance and Counsel, yet know, we can’t perfectly

We are to try our best, in us, His Light, all may see

To share about God’s Love, and of His amazing Saving Grace

In the things we do, things we say, when meeting face-to-face

That this Life is a stepping stone, on our way to another place

To make a decision, for a final judgment, we must face

God created YOU and me, and He watches every choice that we make

He knows what the outcome shall be, He sees each mistake

Every single twist and turn, every wrong move YOU make

He even watches over YOU, while YOU sleep at night, ‘til YOU awake

God puts upon your heart, that YOU should see things, His Way

That YOU will accept, His Free Gift of Salvation, one day

When YOU do, YOU will see things, in such a truly Blessed Way

That YOU will look forward, to meeting Jesus Christ, one day

YOU will realize, YOU are a part, of God Almighty’s Ultimate Plan

Your vocabulary will lose “I can’t”, replaced with “We can”

YOU are now, one of the Children of God, welcome to His Clan

YOU are a Sister or Brother, in Christ, not simply a woman or man

God has great plans for YOU, in time, YOU will understand

Through The Holy Spirit, may YOU truly feel Jesus Christ’s Hand

Know that He will challenge YOU, to be more, by His Command

To get up and get out, of your comfort zone, He will definitely demand

To speak out openly, about what God has done, and is teaching YOU

That as close to a sin-free Life, is what He asks of YOU, to pursue

To share about Jesus Christ, how He is Alive, as well as within YOU

That YOU have accepted, His Free Gift of Salvation, and that they should too

The choice, to be in God’s Presence, for All Eternity

Or to be, away from God’s Presence, for All Eternity

An individual decision, which should not be taken lightly

But one that no one else can make, for YOU or for me

Yes, God and Jesus Christ, know and believe in YOU

Whether or not YOU do, that choice is up to YOU

They will have a hand, in your Life, know this is true

What YOU will do with this knowledge, is now up to YOU
