Urgency
is an importance, requiring swift action.
The Old Testament of The Holy Bible tells Us, that prior to God Almighty
passing Judgment, on a City or People, He sent a Prophet, to warn All the
People, to turn away from their wicked ways, and back to God Almighty. Most the time, the People listened, and God
held back His Wrath, but after turning back to God, it didn’t take long, for
them to turn back to their wicked ways, once again. Each time, these men, these Prophets, stressed
the urgency of the situation, stating that God Almighty will pass Judgment on
the People, unless they change immediately.
This urgency, weighed heavily, on each Prophet’s heart. Remember, these People were their family and
their friends, they personally knew most, if not all, of these People, they
didn’t want them to die, to suffer God’s Wrath.
These men were told, by God Almighty, precisely what words to relay, to
say to the People. The statements, from
God, were meant to stress the reality of the situation. Roughly meaning, change from your wicked
ways, because I see what YOU are doing, turn back to Me, or I will pass
Judgment upon YOU.
When
The Lord Jesus Christ walked among the People, He stressed to them, who sent
Him, and why He was here. Unlike the
Prophets before Him, Jesus told the People, that God Almighty, The Father, His
Father, had sent Him. Jesus told the
People, He is The Bread From Heaven, that if they ate His Flesh and drank His
Blood, they would have Everlasting Life.
They didn’t understand, He didn’t mean literally, He meant Spiritually. He
told them, He would be Crucified upon The Cross (The Crucifixion), taking upon
Himself, All their sins, All their iniquities.
He was The Sacrificial Lamb, since God Almighty requires a Blood Sacrifice,
for the Remission, or cleansing of sin, He would shed His Own Blood, as a Sacrifice,
for them. He also told them, that God,
His Father, would raise Him from the grave, on the third day (The
Resurrection). Jesus conquered death, He
is Alive, He is Risen. In Our place,
Jesus Christ paid Our sin debt, Once for All.
After forty days, Jesus Christ ascended, on a Cloud, into Heaven (The
Ascension), Alive, and sat down at The Right Hand of His Father, The Father,
God Almighty.
After
His Ascension, His Disciples and Followers, got together, and as promised, They
received The Helper, The Holy Spirit.
Jesus’ Disciples and Followers, spent the rest of Their days, sharing
The Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ.
Warning People, that the Only way back into God’s Immediate Presence,
was through The Lord Jesus Christ. That
if We accept Jesus, as Our personal Lord and Savior, We will have Everlasting
Life. However, there is a time limit, to
make this decision, until Our last breath.
Which
brings Us to Today, We have no need for Prophets, but We do have People who
stress the urgency, of accepting Jesus Christ, as Our personal Lord and Savior,
right now! Who
are these People YOU ask? Well, We are
All Disciples, Followers of The Lord Jesus Christ. We are All, Believers, who by Faith, have
accepted Jesus Christ, and know there is but One God, The Father, God
Almighty. Each and every one of Us, are
tasked with sharing The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are to stress the urgency of making this decision, Today, because not
one of Us, are promised a Tomorrow!
If
I told YOU, a tornado or a hurricane, was coming directly at YOU, what would
YOU do? If I told YOU, YOU would die in
a car wreck, or plane crash, or of a heart attack, Today, what would YOU
do? If I told YOU, God Almighty, was
preparing to pass Judgment, upon your town or city, or even the whole World,
unless the People, turned away from their sins, their wicked ways, and back to
God Almighty, what would YOU do? This is
the urgency, which All of Us Believers feel, because We don’t want anyone to
remain, out of God’s Immediate Presence, for Eternity. No, We are not Prophets, but We do reiterate,
what Jesus Christ, through The Holy Spirit, tells Us to share with YOU. By
Faith, We Believe, that each person must accept Jesus Christ, as their personal
Lord and Savior. We see God’s Love,
Mercy, and Saving Grace, through His Free Gift of Salvation. God Almighty will end this World, what Jesus
Christ referred to as, The Last Day.
Then God will create a New Heaven, a New Earth, a New Holy City,
Jerusalem. Men
and Women will walk IN God’s Immediate Presence, with Jesus Christ, for All
Eternity, but only those who accepted His Free Gift of Salvation, before their
mortal bodies died.
Now
YOU know why We, Believers, take the time, effort, and energy, to share with
YOU about God Almighty, The Lord Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, and The Holy
Bible. We
are The Last Line of Offense, to willingly and openly share with YOU, The
Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want YOU to
feel this urgency, to make this decision, NOW, before the opportunity to make
it, is gone. Know this, if YOU don’t
choose, to accept Jesus Christ, as your personal Lord and Savior, then by
default, YOU accept being AWAY from God’s Immediate Presence, for All Eternity. God Almighty makes this clear, through what His
Only Son, Jesus Christ, revealed to Jesus’ Disciple, John. Jesus will sit upon The Great White Throne of
Judgment. Whereby it will be decided for
each individual, We will either be IN God’s Immediate Presence, for Eternity,
or AWAY from God’s Immediate Presence, for Eternity. As a Believer, and one of the members, of The
Last Line of Offense, I feel this urgency, and I’m doing what I’m compelled to
do, by The Lord Jesus Christ, through The Holy Spirit. I welcome being used, as Jesus Christ’s
Vessel, to share with YOU, God Almighty’s and Jesus Christ’s Unconditional Love
for YOU. They want YOU to accept the
fact, that Jesus Christ died upon The Cross, for YOU. All YOU have to do, is to accept God’s Free
Gift of Salvation, and YOU will have the guarantee, of being in God’s (and
Jesus Christ’s) Immediate Presence, for Eternity.
God Almighty is
demanding, that YOU turn away from your wicked ways, from your iniquities, from
your sins, this instant! He wants YOU to
turn back to Him, and to worship Him, ONLY!
The last thing God Almighty wants to do, is to punish YOU for
Eternity. YOU were created, in His
Image, to be IN God’s Immediate Presence, to walk with Him, Forever! One day, when God Almighty creates everything
anew, He and His Only Son, Jesus Christ, want YOU to be with Them for All
Eternity. The question I have for YOU is
this, do YOU want to avoid God’s Wrath, and welcome God’s Love, God’s Mercy,
and God’s Saving Grace? If so, and YOU want
to know what YOU must do, to accept God’s Free Gift of Salvation, I will be happy
