Said James
What good
is it, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds
Can such faith save him, will it define if he truly
succeeds
Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and
daily food
If you send them away, yet unfulfilled, how will you
be viewed
Faith by itself, if unaccompanied by action, is dead
Is like leaving your brother, in the cold, yearning to
be fed
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you
faith by what I do
You believe that there is one God, well the demons
believe that too
As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith
without deeds is dead
Actions speak louder than words, a quote you have
probably heard said
So what does this mean, have you deciphered its’ clue
Let us look at it another way, give you a quick review
Fruits of our spiritual labor, good works, the deeds
we perform
What God asks of each of us, He molds us and we truly
transform
These are acts that God created us specifically to do
If we fail to complete the task, does it show our true
value
When we stand before Jesus, to answer for our mortal
ways
Will we be ashamed, or look Him in the eyes yearning
for His praise
Faith must be accompanied by good works, is what it
comes down to
For by faith we are saved, but by our deeds we will be
judged too.
