What if each time YOU sin, YOU see a quick flash of an image

Yes, something so powerful, from sinning, it should discourage

Jesus Christ on The Cross, He is looking directly at YOU

The question is, would this be enough deterrent to stop YOU

We are subtly reminded We put Him back on The Cross

But also, who is Our Lord and Savior, and Our Loving Boss

Jesus died upon The Cross, paying the debt for All Our sin

The Foundation of Our Faith, yes, where Our Belief must begin

We know, Jesus is not still on The Cross, We don’t keep Him there

Christ is Alive and well, sitting at The Right Hand of God’s Chair

So, may I ask, do YOU stop and thank Him, for All He has done

He gave it All, on The Cross, He showed Us, how friendship is done

By His death and Resurrection, He conquered a huge hurdle

With Christ abiding in Us, We can endure any battle

For sin is like an addiction, which We just can’t seem to shake

It torments Our Souls, constantly leaving Us with such heartache

Yes, sin comes in many forms, levels, and degrees, as We know

We delve deeper in Our Faith, so We can Spiritually Grow

Hey, cling to The Vine, that’s Jesus Christ, yes, let Him lead your way

If YOU truly listen and obey, you’re less likely to stray
