What Is Jesus Asking

May I ask YOU, what is Jesus asking YOU, as this moment

Is He reminding YOU, of the exact reason, He was sent

Perhaps He is asking YOU, to step out of your Comfort Zone

If He is, then let me reassure YOU, that you’re not alone

Remember, We were created, to walk with God and Jesus

Our experiences, walking with Them both, are limitless

Is Jesus asking YOU to proclaim, The Gospel to The Lost

Jesus’ Lost Sheep, which The Good Shepherd, purchased at a high cost

Let them know, Christ wants to release them, from the bondage of sin

This is where their Hope, where Our Faith, in Jesus Christ, must begin

That by accepting His Free Gift of Salvation, they are free

To live their Life, for Jesus Christ, and The Lord God Almighty

Christ might be asking YOU, to take care of their physical needs

We don’t always reap The Harvest, sometimes We just plant the seeds

Jesus may want Us to strengthen others, yes, to lift them up

I would want to be, on the frontline, in the starting lineup

Maybe you’re to warn them, that their time is quickly running out

Accept Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior, is what it’s about

But sometimes Our approach, doesn’t have to be, quite so direct

We must remind Ourselves and others, that no one is perfect

Were YOU asked, to return to The Path, God created for YOU

Jesus knows you’ve strayed, from His Light, that’s why He’s talking to YOU

Find solace in the fact, that We All do this, from time to time

So, put on The Full Armor of God, it’s Spiritual Wartime

God knows what’s on your mind, He has Foreknowledge of your future

We yearn to do God’s Good Work, We know Jesus is Our answer

We want everyone, We come into contact with, to realize

Satan, Lucifer, the devil, waits to tempt Us with his lies

We’re to live in the World, but not be of the World, did YOU know

In short, We are Children of God, for The Bible tells Us so

As Jesus’ Light, We shine Biblical Light, upon Earth’s darkness

And when We commit a sin, We ask God for His Forgiveness

Rejoice, when God takes the time, to speak personally to YOU

So, enjoy the chance, to show Jesus, what you’re willing to do

Know Jesus has your back, He always has, and He always will

Tell the whole World, that God Almighty, and Jesus Christ are real

May I ask YOU, what is Jesus asking YOU, as this moment

If you’re not sure, I suggest YOU grab your Bible, this instant

I live for God Almighty and Jesus Christ, this I proclaim

I don’t have to wonder about Jesus asking, what’s your name

How Does God Speak To Me

How does God Almighty speak to YOU, well, let me count the ways

Do YOU think it’s only when, each of Us, sits alone and prays

Did YOU know, when YOU read The Holy Bible, God speaks to YOU

I’m not talking about the words, that YOU read, which He does do

But what God reveals to your heart, to discern at that moment

To mold, or to change, to be shared, or for personal judgment

YOU could read a particular book, chapter, or verse today

Then take some time to sit alone, and to God Almighty pray

God will reveal to YOU, a special message, meant just for YOU

He might push YOU, out of your Comfort Zone, something to pursue

Later read that particular book, chapter, or verse again

And God Almighty would reveal Himself, to YOU, once again

God also speaks to YOU, through prayer, that’s one-on-one communion

We have a High Priest, Our Mediator, Jesus Christ, God’s Son

Who has The Father’s Ear, at All hours, day or night, it’s true

Jesus will talk to The Father, specifically about YOU

Jesus will speak to YOU, through The Holy Spirit, to your heart

He will call on YOU, to share The Gospel, yes, to do your part

To be His Light, upon the World, which does not want to hear it

Resistance may be overwhelming, at times, I must admit

God or Jesus may speak to YOU, in your Dreams or in Visions

Know this message, may be meant for YOU, or meant for All Christians

A chance to use your Spiritual Gifts, to further God’s Kingdom

What do YOU think I do, when I sit down, and create a poem

God may speak to YOU, at a time YOU truly least expect it

So, YOU might want to keep a notebook, close by, prepared for it

Instructions He has in mind for YOU, to do or to pursue

Stay penitent and humble, remember, it’s not about YOU

Many people question and ponder, when will God speak to me

Just what do I have to do, to get Him to listen to me

Jesus often stated, He who has ears to hear, let him hear

Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life, it’s perfectly clear

Yes, Children of God, expect to hear from Him, from time to time

And this is the true point, for me writing, this God-given rhyme

Stand up, take notice, listen with your whole entire being

YOU aren’t simply flesh and blood, but a true Spiritual Being

Listen closely to God, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit

I guarantee, you’ll be overwhelmed, it’s completely worth it

Know that They consider YOU, more precious, than diamonds or gold

Go out and Preach The Gospel, just as Jesus Christ was so bold

YOU are Jesus Christ’s Light, with The Message of Hope, dare to share

The Son of The Lord God Almighty, shall return, YOU declare

Accept God’s Free Gift of Salvation, God wants YOU back with Him

The Angels shall rejoice, when YOU do, with a resounding hymn

Yes, God Almighty does speak to YOU, do YOU have ears to hear

I’ve given YOU, several examples, so I pray it’s clear

Commune with God, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, openly

Go out and Preach The Gospel of Jesus Christ, loudly, boldly

Live For God Almighty, Not Man

As a Child of God, I don’t live for Man’s approval, do YOU

I live for The Father, God Almighty, and Jesus Christ, too

To make an impact, simply by sharing The Truth, Christ Jesus

Thomas, I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life, stated Jesus

No one comes to The Father, except through Me, replied Jesus

So, what does this statement mean, for YOU and for the rest of Us

The Way, out of the bondage of sin, back to God Almighty

The Truth, Jesus Christ is the bridge to return, for YOU and me

And Jesus Christ, built this bridge, with His very own precious blood

The Life, We must live Our lives for God Almighty, period

What does God want me to do, how can I make this World better

To show God’s Unconditional Love, Jesus is Our answer

When Jesus Christ spoke of Us laying up treasures, in Heaven

He meant doing things, pleasing to God, until Our work is done

Serving others, taking care of their needs, the basics of Life

As Children of God, We know where We shall spend Our afterlife

We want to show God’s Love, for each and every person, We meet

That true Salvation, through Jesus Christ, will make their Life complete

For Salvation is found, by no other name, under Heaven

Given among Men, by which We must be Saved, yes, God said none

So, what more precious treasure, than Eternal Life, could there be

I want All to understand the consequences, perfectly

To be in God’s Immediate Presence, or never to be

Sounds like an easy choice, because it certainly was for me

We should take care of others, physical needs of the body

As well as, their Spiritual need, for The Lord God Almighty

Redemption, from The Crucifixion to The Resurrection

God’s Amazing Saving Grace, through His Free Gift of Salvation

We want Yet-To-Be-Believers to ask questions, to question

Don’t take Our word for it, read The Bible, about Salvation

Pray to God Almighty, and listen to what He tells your heart

Accept Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior, a perfect start

Then read and study The Holy Bible, God will talk to YOU

He will speak to your heart, He will change your Life, by molding YOU

Jesus now abides in YOU, through The Holy Spirit, it’s true

And between the two of you, there is nothing YOU cannot do

As a Child of God, your task is to live for God Almighty

Don’t worry about what Man says, about your Testimony

Share about The Lord Jesus Christ, He is Our God’s Greatest Gift

YOU just never know, whose life you’ll change, or who’s Spirit you’ll lift

YOU are Jesus’ Light, in a World full of darkness and despair

Put on The Armor of God, prepare for Spiritual Warfare

YOU are to show everyone, God Almighty truly does care

One day, we’ll be in God’s Immediate Presence, see YOU there
