Do YOU Hunger And Crave, For God

We hunger and crave food and drink, Our nourishment for the day

We should hunger and crave, for God’s Word and fellowship each day

We eat meals of meat, vegetables, dessert, a snack at bedtime

We drink milk, coffee, tea, juice, and water with lemon or lime

But do We feed Ourselves God’s Word, by craving to read His Word

What about prayer or fellowship, shouldn’t they keep Us anchored

God speaks to Us, as We read His Word, can YOU imagine that

What about dropping to Our knees, commune with God for a chat

Prayer, a chance to spend time with God, The Father, Our Creator

With Jesus Christ, sitting right beside Us, Our Lord and Savior

We yearn to be in His Presence, and We can be every day

Now stop and take the time, to listen closely to what I say

YOU want a taste of Heaven, spend some time with God Almighty

Jesus Christ walks beside YOU, Always, just as He does with me

Question, can YOU feel His Loving Arms, wrapped tightly around YOU

Listen closely for His Voice, as He Lovingly speaks to YOU

Between God Almighty and His Son, Jesus, They have your back

This means truthfully, there is absolutely nothing YOU lack

YOU shall witness events, far beyond your imagination

For God and Jesus work in ways, beyond Our comprehension

They will challenge YOU, to step out of your comfort zone, it’s true

God and Jesus demand more, than YOU ever thought YOU could do

YOU yearn to be in Their Presence, be careful what YOU wish for

YOU represent them both now, and They will always expect more

YOU are Jesus Christ’s Light upon the World, this I pray YOU know

The Son of God will return, who knows it may be tomorrow

Live each day as though YOU have, only today, to get things right

Listen to God Almighty and Jesus Christ closely tonight
