Preach The Word, As A Good Servant of Jesus Christ

If YOU instruct the Brethren in these things, YOU will be a Good Minister of Jesus Christ, nourished in The Words of Faith and of The Good Doctrine which YOU have carefully followed.  But reject profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise yourself toward Godliness.  For bodily exercise profits a little, but Godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the Life that now is, and of that which is to come.  This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance.  For to this end We both labor and suffer reproach, because We Trust in The Living God, who is The Savior of all men, especially of those who Believe.  These things command and teach.  Be an example to the Believers in word, in conduct, in Love, in Spirit, in Faith, in purity.  Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.  Do not neglect the Gift that is in YOU, which was given to YOU by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the Eldership.  Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.  Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine.  Continue in them, for in doing this, YOU will Save both yourself and those who hear YOU.  Endure all things for the sake of The Elect, that they also may obtain the Salvation which is in Christ Jesus with Eternal Glory.  This is a faithful saying: For if We died with Him, We shall also live with Him.  If We endure, We shall also Reign with Him.  If We deny Him, He also will deny Us.  If We are faithless, He remains Faithful; He cannot deny Himself.  Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing The Word of Truth.  Nevertheless The Solid Foundation of God stands, having this Seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names The Name of Christ depart from iniquity.”  And a Servant of The Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them Repentance, so that they may know The Truth.  But know this, that in The Last Days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.  And from such people turn away!  For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to The Knowledge of The Truth.  Now these resist The Truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the Faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.  But YOU have carefully followed His Doctrine, manner of Life, purpose, Faith, longsuffering, Love, perseverance, persecutions, and afflictions.  Yes, and all who desire to live Godly in Christ Jesus, will suffer persecution.  But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.  But YOU must continue in the things which YOU have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom YOU have learned them, and that from childhood YOU have known The Holy Scriptures, which are able to make YOU wise for Salvation through Faith which is in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is given by Inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in Righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every Good Work.  I charge YOU therefore before God and The Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His Appearing and His Kingdom: Preach The Word!  Be ready in season and out of season.  Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from The Truth, and be turned aside to fables.  But YOU be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do The Work of an Evangelist, fulfill your Ministry.
