A Rare Glimpse Into Two Moments

Have YOU ever placed yourself, witnessing Jesus on The Cross
His Body beaten and torn, His Blood spilt, the feeling of loss
So close to Him, your eyes fill with tears, and they stream down your face
Even though YOU know, The Promise of His Rising, by God’s Grace
YOU can see Him as clear, as any TV show or movie
And YOU wonder in your heart, Dear Lord Jesus, how can this be
YOU feel the pain, each of His Disciples felt, in the moment
It tears at your heart, down deep into your Soul, in this moment
Then He looks deep into your eyes and says, I did this for YOU
I have bore the weight of your sin, so that YOU would not have to
Today, you’re filled with pain and sorrow, but I want YOU to know
YOU are truly My Friend, and as such, just how far I will go
My Blood that pours out of me, is cleansing for your Salvation
When I breathe my last breath, I pay your debt in full, then it’s done
But look to Me Rising from the grave, Alive, on the third day
By My Father’s Hand, Victorious, defeating death, that day
On the third day, YOU are there, at the opening of His Tomb
As YOU enter YOU can see, His Body is not in this Tomb
From outside YOU hear the words, He is not here, He is Risen
Jesus appears and tells YOU, My Friend your sins are Forgiven
And with His Words, your eyes fill with tears, and they stream down your face
YOU feel The Love of God Almighty and Jesus, in this place
These are tears of joy, gratitude, and humbleness, toward Them both
Realizing how much They truly Love YOU, brings Spiritual Growth
Jesus says, I am always with YOU, through The Holy Spirit
My Father and I, have tasks for YOU to do, so get to it
A rare glimpse into two moments, which changed the path of your Life
God’s Free Gift of Salvation, leading straight to Eternal Life
Keep these two moments fresh in your mind, as YOU begin each day
As YOU sit down in silence, to commune with God, when YOU pray
When YOU take the time to share, about God’s Plan of Salvation
Your Life, as a Believer in God and Jesus, has just begun
