Jesus Christ’s Ascension Into Heaven

Now, The Lord Jesus Christ led them out, as far as Bethany

He lifted up His Hands, Blessed them, soon to part their company

While they watched, He was taken up, a Cloud enveloped Jesus

While they looked steadfastly toward Heaven as He went up, Jesus

Behold, Two Men stood by them, in white apparel, God’s Angels

Noticed them looking up, Men of Galilee, said God’s Angels

They continued, why do YOU stand gazing up into Heaven

This same Jesus, who was taken up, from YOU, into Heaven

YOU should know, He sat down at The Right Hand of God, in Heaven

He will return, in the same way, YOU saw Him go to Heaven

Jesus’ Ascension into Heaven, described in The Bible

God’s Word, in written form, received by Believers, His Faithful

Imagine yourself there, in the moment, with His Apostles

Yes, YOU are right there with them, along with two of God’s Angels

What would YOU be thinking, Jesus was leaving YOU yet again

Would YOU be prepared to share, what YOU just Witnessed, with All Men

Would YOU feel lost, or would YOU be filled with The Holy Spirit

Ready to Preach The Gospel of Jesus Christ, think about it

At first your heart would break, YOU might feel lost for a few moments

Jesus sending The Holy Spirit, fills YOU with confidence

Along with the words, of the two Angels about His Return

That in the same manner He left, Jesus would surely return

YOU must remember, Jesus entrusted YOU with a Blessed Task

He also told YOU that if YOU have any questions, just ask

As a Believer, YOU are to Preach The Gospel of Jesus

Yes, share about God’s Amazing Saving Grace, with All of Us

Redemption, from The Crucifixion to The Resurrection

How each one of Us can accept God’s Free Gift of Salvation

The Lord Jesus Christ’s Return is a given, We have God’s Word

One day soon when Jesus Returns, Our questions will be answered

We can truthfully describe His Ascension into Heaven

And We can experience it, with Our imagination

Jesus Christ told Us, to always be prepared for His Return

Sharing The Gospel of Jesus is Our primary concern

Look up, Fellow Believers, because today could be The Day

That YOU have accepted God’s Free Gift of Salvation, I pray
