Do YOU Believe In The Cross Of Jesus Christ

Do YOU Believe in The Cross of Jesus Christ?  YOU do, well then, my next question is, what are YOU going to do about it?  Have YOU ever stopped to think about it?  Was your answer, I made my decision, about The Cross, so I did my part (meaning, there is nothing more YOU need to do)?  Or was your answer, I made my decision, about The Cross, now, what do I need to do next, Lord?  My prayer for YOU is that yours was the second response (because it should be, what do I need to do next, Lord?).

YOU see, believing in The Cross of Jesus Christ, means We understand what The Cross stands for.  It stands for Jesus Christ being God Almighty’s One and ONLY Son.  It stands for God’s Amazing Saving Grace and His Unconditional Love, for Us All.  It stands for Jesus Christ’s Unconditional Love, for Us All.  It stands for Jesus Christ paying Our sin debt, shedding His Precious Blood, upon The Cross, for the sins of All Mankind, before any of Us were ever even born.  Remember, the wages (the payment, the cost, the due reward) of sin is death!  Jesus Christ took Our punishment, physical torture and torment, before He was nailed to The Cross, then He died a physical death (remember, the wages of sin is death) upon The Cross (His Crucifixion), that’s right, Jesus Christ died, in Your Place, as well as mine!  It stands for God Almighty raising Jesus Christ, from the grave (His Resurrection), Alive, on the third day (defeating death, itself).    It stands for Jesus Christ ascending into Heaven (His Ascension), Alive, forty days after His Resurrection.  It stands for the expectations God Almighty, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit have for Our lives.  That’s right, They (God Almighty, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit) have high expectations, for each and every one of Our lives.  When God Almighty Created YOU, He Created a uniquely Special Path, for Your Life (God’s Path).

So, what are some of these expectations?  Well, We should make God Almighty Our First Priority.  We should give control over Our lives to Jesus Christ, through The Holy Spirit.  We should turn away from sin and back to God Almighty.  We should confess Our sins through Jesus Christ (Our Mediator between God Almighty and Us), AND ask for Forgiveness from God Almighty.  We should understand and accept that every single time We confess Our sins (through Jesus Christ) AND ask for Forgiveness, God Almighty forgives and forgets.  We should realize that unfortunately, We will still sin, after all, We are human, but this does NOT mean We cannot strive to be as sin-free as possible.  We should make reading and studying God’s Word, The Holy Bible a habit, preferably a daily habit.  Finally, We should make communing with God Almighty and Jesus Christ, through prayer, a daily habit.  Remember, there is NO limit on the amount of time We spend in prayer.

Now, up to this point, I have mentioned things which are personal, i.e. that concern each of Us, personally.  What about Their (God Almighty, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit) expectations of Our interactions with others?  Well, first of all, We should Fellowship with Fellow Believers, for a few reasons.  We can learn and Spiritually Grow with each other, We can pray with and for each other, We can help each other strive to stay away from sin, We truly can uplift each other, and most importantly, We can show Godly Love to and for each other.  Next, We must Love One Another.  What do I mean by Love One Another, YOU ask?  Well, it means We Love and treat others as We would want them to treat Us.  It means, We Love Our enemies, no matter how they treat Us (even if they hate Us, despise Us, physically or mentally harm Us, persecute Us, or wish to put Us to death), this I think, is one of the most difficult things for any of Us to do.  We are to show Love, Mercy, Grace, and Forgiveness, to those who wrong or sin against Us, regardless of their walk (Believer, Yet-To-Be-Believer, and Unbeliever), limitlessly.  We should live Our Christian Life, as an example to others (Believers, Yet-To-Be-Believers, and Unbelievers), remember Jesus Christ lived His Mortal (limited human) Life, as an example for All.  When Jesus Christ walked the Earth, every day was spent doing something for others (giving food and drink, healing sickness and physical ailments, raising the dead, chasing out demons, revealing The Truth about Himself and The Kingdom of God Almighty, and most importantly, dying upon The Cross for the sins of All Mankind).

The most important expectation They (God Almighty, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit) have of Us, is to share, to Preach The Gospel of Jesus Christ to others.  We should look forward to and thoroughly enjoy sharing about God’s Amazing Saving Grace through God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  After all, can YOU name anything that compares to being in God Almighty’s Immediate Presence, Forever, for Eternity?  I didn’t think so.  We should have the desire to run up to each person and ask them, wouldn’t YOU Love to be in God’s Immediate Presence, Forever?  If they say, I already have that assurance, then tell them, great, God Bless YOU.  If they say, yes, I certainly would, could YOU tell me how, then please, tell them how.  If they say, no, then tell them O.K., I will say a prayer for YOU that YOU will want to know some day and God Bless YOU.  There is NO better, NO greater gift, We can possibly share with another person, than about God’s Amazing Saving Grace through God’s Free Gift of Salvation, period!

I Believe in The Cross of Jesus Christ, what am I going to do about it; I’m going to Preach The Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I’m going to be Jesus Christ’s Light upon the World (as All Believers are).  I want His (Jesus Christ’s) Light to shine so brightly in me, that other people see Him (Jesus Christ), instead of me.

Since YOU Believe in The Cross of Jesus Christ, my question for YOU is, what are YOU going to do about it?
