Jesus Cleanses The Temple

“Even Them (The Gentiles), I (God Almighty) will bring to My (God Almighty’s) Holy Mountain, and make Them (The Gentiles) joyful, in My (God Almighty’s) House of Prayer.  Their (The Gentiles) burnt offerings and Their (The Gentiles) sacrifices will be accepted on My (God Almighty’s) Altar; for My (God Almighty’s) House shall be called, A House of Prayer for All Nations.”  [From The Book of Isaiah.]

So They (Jesus Christ and His Disciples) came to Jerusalem.  Then Jesus (Jesus Christ) went into The Temple of God (God Almighty) and began to drive out, those who bought and sold (those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves) in The Temple, and He (Jesus Christ) overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those who sold doves.  And He (Jesus Christ) said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away!  Do NOT make My Father’s (God Almighty’s) House, a house of merchandise!”  And He (Jesus Christ) would NOT allow anyone to carry wares through The Temple.  Then He said to them, “It is written, ‘My House shall be called, A House of Prayer for All Nations,’ but YOU have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”

Fellow Believers, can YOU see this as a future warning, for Us today?  Are the Churches (We attend and associate with), becoming more concerned with finances (wealth), instead of being a House of Prayer, as God Almighty intended?  Do We simply “go through the motions”, when We attend Services and Fellowship with each other?  Do We stay within Our walls, instead of reaching out to the Lost (fulfilling “The Great Commission”)?  Does your Church have a Pastor, Deacons, and the rest are “Pew Warmers”?  Does ten percent of your congregation, do ninety percent of the work?  Do We really, truly, care about each other and pray for one another, and if NOT, why NOT?

People have begun walking away from Fellowship within Our Churches, why?  Have They lost Their Faith, in God Almighty, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit, perhaps.  Have They lost Their Faith, in Fellowship and Church, possibly.  Do They feel inconsequential, insignificant, that God Almighty could NOT possibly care specifically about Them, as an individual, probably.  It’s a combination of these things and so much more.  Why do YOU think small Bible Study Groups do well?  They do well, because they are small enough to get to know each other, and to care about each other.  The participants can pray together, pray for each other, and uplift one another.  This IS The Foundation of A House of Prayer.  Fellowship is important, if for nothing else, than to help each other to keep from sinning (rebelling against God Almighty), but also to help each of Us, Spiritually Grow.  Jesus Christ is The Good Shepherd, and Our Pastors are Our Earthly Shepherd, They are to train Us, to help Us to Spiritually Grow, to prepare Us to go out and share, to Preach The Gospel of Jesus Christ.

IF the Church YOU attend, cares more about “the bottom line” (wealth), than raising its members in Fellowship and Spiritual Growth, prepared to Preach The Gospel of Jesus Christ, then it’s probably right, that YOU should walk away, but ONLY to find a Church that meets these needs.

Our personal relationships, with God Almighty and Jesus Christ, through The Holy Spirit, are what make Us, Believers (Brothers and Sisters, in Christ Jesus), these relationships give Us a strong Foundation.  But remember, this is Our Foundation, from it, We are to Fellowship (in Our Churches) with Other Believers, We are to read God’s Word, The Holy Bible, and most importantly, We must share and Preach The Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We are to pray, for each other, for Our Church, for Our Government, for Our Country, and for Our World.  We are to pray for All the Souls, who have YET to acknowledge God’s Amazing Saving Grace AND accept God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  We are to pray, for each of them, to receive a “Wake Up Call”, so that they may accept Jesus Christ, as their personal Lord and Savior.  In turn, We make Our Churches, “A House of Prayer”, as God Almighty intended and Jesus Christ reiterated.  My prayer for YOU, is that YOU find, A House of Prayer to attend.  Amen.
