Now when one of those who sat at the
table with Him, heard these things, he said to Him, “Blessed is he who shall eat Bread in The Kingdom
of God!” Then He said to him, “A Certain
Man gave a Great Supper and Invited many, and sent His Servant at Supper Time,
to say to those who were Invited, ‘Come, for All Things are now ready.’ But They All, with one accord, began to make excuses. The first said to Him, ‘I have bought a piece
of ground, and I must go and see it. I
ask YOU to have me excused.’ And another
said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them. I ask YOU to have me excused.’ Still another said, ‘I have married a wife,
and therefore I cannot come.’ So, that Servant
came and reported these things to His Master.
Then The Master of The House, being angry, said to His Servant, ‘Go out
quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here, the poor, and the maimed, and the
lame, and the blind.’ And The Servant said, ‘Master, it is done as
YOU Commanded, and still there is room.’
Then The Master said to The Servant, ‘Go out into the highways and
hedges, and compel them to come
in, that My House may be filled. For I
say to YOU, that none of those men, who were Invited, shall taste My Supper.’”
[Possible
explanation, of “The
Parable Of The Great Supper”, for Today]
Now, when One of Those (Jesus’
Disciples) who sat at the table, with Him (Jesus Christ), heard these things,
he (Jesus’ Disciple) said to Him (Jesus Christ), “Blessed is he (Believer) who shall eat Bread
(be in God’s Immediate Presence, with Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit) in The
Kingdom of God!”
Then He (Jesus Christ) said to him (Jesus’
Disciple), “A Certain Man (God Almighty) gave a Great Supper (The Kingdom of
Heaven) and Invited (into The Kingdom of Heaven) Many (Unbelievers), and sent
His Servant (Jesus Christ) at Supper Time (The Kingdom of Heaven), to say to Those
(Unbelievers) who were Invited (into The Kingdom of Heaven), ‘Come, for All Things
are now ready.’ But They All
(Unbelievers), with One Accord
(Unbelievers), began to make excuses.
The first (Unbeliever) said to Him (Jesus Christ), ‘I have bought a
piece of ground, and I must go and see it.
I ask YOU (Jesus Christ) to have me (Unbeliever) excused (I do NOT wish
to enter The Kingdom of Heaven).’ And
another (Unbeliever) said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to
test them. I ask YOU (Jesus Christ) to
have me (Unbeliever) excused (I do NOT wish to enter The Kingdom of Heaven).’ Still another (Unbeliever) said, ‘I have
married a Wife, and therefore, I cannot come (I do NOT wish to enter The
Kingdom of Heaven).’ So, that Servant
(Jesus Christ) came and reported these things to His Master (God Almighty). Then The Master of The House (God Almighty),
being angry, said to His Servant (Jesus Christ), ‘Go out quickly, into the
streets and lanes of the city (The World), and bring in Here (The Kingdom of
Heaven), the poor, and the maimed, and the lame, and the blind (Believers).’
And The Servant (Jesus Christ) said, ‘Master (God Almighty), it is done
as YOU (God Almighty) Commanded (All Believers, have entered The Kingdom of
Heaven), and still there is Room (in The Kingdom of Heaven).’ Then The Master (God Almighty) said to The Servant
(Jesus Christ), ‘Go out, into the highways and hedges (The World), and Compel Them (Unbelievers) to Come in (into
The Kingdom of Heaven), that My House (The Kingdom of Heaven) may be Filled. For I (God Almighty) say to YOU (Jesus
Christ), that None of Those Men (Unbelievers), who were Invited (into The
Kingdom of Heaven), shall Taste My Supper (enter The Kingdom of Heaven).’”
