The Parable Of The Wise And Foolish Virgins

“Then, The Kingdom of Heaven, shall be likened to Ten Virgins, Who took Their Lamps, and went out to meet The Bridegroom.  Now Five of Them were Wise, and Five were foolish.  Those Who were foolish took Their Lamps and took no oil with Them, but The Wise took oil in Their Vessels, with Their lamps.  But while The Bridegroom was delayed, They All slumbered and slept.  And at midnight, a Cry was Heard: ‘Behold, The Bridegroom is Coming; go out to meet Him!’  Then, All those Virgins arose, and trimmed Their lamps.  And the foolish said to The Wise, ‘Give Us some of your oil, for Our lamps are going out.’  But The Wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should NOT be enough for Us and YOU; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’  And while They went to buy, The Bridegroom Came, and Those who were Ready, went in with Him to The Wedding; and The Door was Shut.  Afterward, The Other Virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, Open to Us!’  But He answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to YOU, I do NOT know YOU.’  “Watch therefore, for YOU know neither The Day nor The Hour in which The Son of Man is Coming.”

[Possible explanation, of “The Parable Of The Wise And Foolish Virgins”, for Today]

“Then, The Kingdom of Heaven, shall be likened, to Ten Virgins (Believers and Unbelievers), Who took Their (Believers and Unbelievers) Lamps, and went out to meet The Bridegroom (Jesus Christ).  Now Five of Them were Wise (Believers), and Five were Foolish (Unbelievers).  Those Who were Foolish (Unbelievers) took Their (Unbelievers) Lamps and took no oil with Them (Unbelievers), but The Wise (Believers) took oil in Their (Believers) Vessels, with Their (Believers) Lamps.  But while The Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) was delayed, They All (Believers and Unbelievers) slumbered and slept.  And at midnight, a Cry was Heard: ‘Behold, The Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) is Coming; go out to meet Him (Jesus Christ)!’  Then, All those Virgins (Believers and Unbelievers) arose, and trimmed Their (Believers and Unbelievers) Lamps.  And The Foolish (Unbelievers) said to The Wise (Believers), ‘Give Us (Unbelievers) some of your oil, for Our (Unbelievers) Lamps are going out.’  But The Wise (Believers) answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should NOT be enough for Us (Believers) and YOU (Unbelievers); but go rather to those who sell, and buy for Yourselves (Unbelievers).’  And while They (Unbelievers) went to buy, The Bridegroom (Jesus Christ) Came, and Those (Believers) Who were Ready, went in with Him (Jesus Christ) to The Wedding (The Kingdom of Heaven); and The Door (to The Kingdom of Heaven) was Shut.  Afterward, The Other Virgins (Unbelievers) came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, Open to Us (Unbelievers)!’  But He (Jesus Christ) answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I (Jesus Christ) say to YOU (Unbeliever), I (Jesus Christ) do NOT know YOU (Unbeliever).’  “Watch therefore, for YOU (Believer, Yet-To-Be-Believer, and Unbeliever) know, neither The Day nor The Hour, in which The Son of Man (Jesus Christ) is Coming.”

So, what’s the point of this Parable, YOU ask?

All People (Believers, Yet-To-Be-Believers, and Unbelievers) are aware of God Almighty’s Existence, whether They choose to admit it or NOT!  Through God Almighty, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, Jesus’ Disciples, The Holy Bible, and now, by Fellow Believers, Who share, Who Preach The Gospel of Jesus Christ, The Truth is being made Known, to All!  Whether or NOT, each one of Them, choose to accept it, choose to Believe it or NOT, is up to each individual, and each one, will be held accountable, for His/Her Decision or Lack thereof.  When The Time Comes, when The Day and Hour, of The Son of Man Coming, Arrives, it will be too late, for Those Who failed to acknowledge God’s Amazing Saving Grace and accept God’s Free Gift of Salvation.  We, Believers, do NOT wish for ANYONE to be Counted, with The Five Foolish Virgins!
