The Parable Of The Wedding Feast

And Jesus answered, and spoke to them again, by parables and said: “The Kingdom of Heaven, is like a certain King who arranged a Marriage for His Son, and sent out His Servants to Call those who were Invited to The Wedding; and they were NOT willing to come.

Again, He sent out Other Servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are Invited, “See, I have prepared My Dinner; My Oxen and Fatted Cattle are killed, and All Things are ready.  Come to The Wedding.”’  But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.  And the rest seized His Servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them.  But when the King heard about it, He was furious.  And He sent out His Armies, destroyed those Murderers, and burned up their City.

Then He said to His Servants, ‘The Wedding is ready, but those who were Invited were NOT Worthy.  Therefore go into the highways, and as many as YOU find, Invite to The Wedding.’  So those Servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and Good.  And The Wedding Hall was filled with Guests.  “But when the King came in to see the Guests, He saw a man there who did NOT have on a Wedding Garment.  So He said to him, ‘Friend, how did YOU come in here without a Wedding Garment?’  And he was speechless.  Then the King said to the Servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’  “For many are Called, but few are Chosen.”

[Possible explanation, of The Wedding Feast Parable, for Today]

And Jesus answered, and spoke to them again, by parables and said:

“The Kingdom of Heaven, is like a certain King (God Almighty) who arranged a Marriage (between Jesus Christ and His Bride) for His Son (Jesus Christ), and sent out His Servants (Jesus’ Disciples) to Call those (Unbelievers) who were Invited to The Wedding (The Kingdom of Heaven); and they (Unbelievers) were NOT willing to come.

Again, He (God Almighty) sent out Other Servants (Jesus’ Disciples), saying, ‘Tell those (Unbelievers) who are Invited (to The Kingdom of Heaven), “See, I have prepared My Dinner; My Oxen, and Fatted Cattle are killed, and All Things are Ready.  Come to The Wedding (The Kingdom of Heaven).”’  But they (Unbelievers) made light of It (The Kingdom of Heaven) and went their (Unbelievers) ways, one (Unbeliever) to his own farm, another (Unbeliever) to his business.  And the rest (of the Unbelievers) seized His Servants (Jesus’ Disciples), treated them (Jesus’ Disciples) spitefully, and killed them (Jesus’ Disciples).  But when the King (God Almighty) heard about it, He (God Almighty) was furious.  And He (God Almighty) sent out His Armies (God’s Angels), destroyed those Murderers, and burned up their City.

Then He (God Almighty) said to His Servants (Jesus’ Disciples), ‘The Wedding (The Kingdom of Heaven) is Ready, but those (Unbelievers) who were Invited (to The Kingdom of Heaven) were NOT Worthy.  Therefore go into the highways, and as many as YOU (Jesus’ Disciples) find, Invite to The Wedding (The Kingdom of Heaven).’  So, Those Servants (Jesus’ Disciples) went out into the highways and gathered together All (Believers and Unbelievers) whom they (Jesus’ Disciples) found, both bad (Unbelievers) and Good (Believers).  And The Wedding Hall (The Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ) was filled with Guests (Believers and Unbelievers).  “But when the King (God Almighty) came in to see the Guests (Believers and Unbelievers), He (God Almighty) saw a man (Unbeliever, who thought he was a Believer) there, who did NOT have on a Wedding Garment (Salvation).  So He (God Almighty) said to him (Unbeliever, who thought he was a Believer), ‘Friend, how did YOU come in here without a Wedding Garment (Salvation)?’  And he (Unbeliever, who thought he was a Believer) was speechless.  Then the King (God Almighty) said to The Servants (God’s Angels), ‘Bind him (Unbeliever, who thought he was a Believer) hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (The Lake of Fire, Eternal Separation from God Almighty).’  “For many are Called (to be Believers), but few are Chosen (become Believers).”

[Note 1: ALL Unbelievers, receive the same Fate, as the Unbeliever, who thought he was a Believer, Separation from God Almighty, for Eternity.]

[Note 2: A Wedding Garment signifies a person, who has acknowledged God’s Amazing Saving Grace and accepted God’s Free Gift of Salvation, thereby becoming a Believer.]

[Note 3: I know this should go without saying, but ONLY Believers, enter The Kingdom of Heaven.  They will be in God’s Immediate Presence, with Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit, for Eternity.]
